文冬玻璃口华小的同事 we were colleagues

7月19日（星期日）我应邀回去B镇和我20年前的同事相聚。
1976至1989年我在B镇的玻璃口华小执教。现在算算整整是20年前的事了。
当晚，我和我70年代的邓佛送校长、80年代的魏亚汉校长、陈慧玉副校长、文瑞瑛副校长、Mr.Fong、Mr.Lai、林正和老师同席。其他出席的老师还有苏敏兰老师、苏敏芬老师、黄素香老师、李作珍老师、Miss Tan Siew Hong、Mdm Tan、周见荣老师、林瑞娣老师等.
多年不见,大家交换近况,无所不谈。整个厢房洋溢着我们欢乐的笑声，仿佛又回到我们20年前一起教学的情景.....。
同事中，多数因年龄所限，已卸下教职；有的休闲在家、有的退而不休继续在一些私人机构协助培训学生、教育英才。
我很高兴被通知聚集,大家有机会见面、叙旧。我们还合唱生日歌、共切生日蛋糕、自己为自己庆祝教师节。
看，我们虽已退休多年，不再是学校的老师；还特别聚集为自己庆祝教师节！真是把教书当成我们的终生职业！
席上，我的70年代，现在已70高龄的邓佛送校长告诉我他现在和他的女儿及外孙一起去学唱歌....
他还毅然站起来为我们清唱“敖包相会”呢！
今晚，我好开心.....
但愿我的每一位旧同事都身体健康、欢乐年年！

Really surprised that you and Wong SH were teachers in Perting Primary! Do you know that Tang FSoong was my History teacher in standard 5 & 6. Is he in the picture ? Lim Swee Tee used to teach English ? Sound like my English teacher. Is she in the picture?

Wah! You have a very good memory! Still remembering your primary teachers.It was back in the 60's!
Mr Tang FSoong was the 2nd sitting from left,Wong SH standing 5th from left and Lim Swee Thye was the 9th standing from left.Most importantly you still read Chinese! That is something great!
Do you still play basketball?

I have not played basketball since leaving CHS. I had been playing badminton and running until about five years ago when I started to have joint pain etc.... due to gout and aging.
Congratulations; Ah Lu told me that you just have an additional member to your extended family i.e. a daughter in law.
Please email me the coming CYN B town classmates reunion dinner photos.
